KWM Seeks Executive Director

Job Title: Executive Director

Location: Holland, Michigan 49423

Reports to: Board of Directors

Kairos West Michigan is an educational non-profit that envisions West Michigan to be a place where the realities of the Israeli-Palestinian situation are openly discussed, empowering people to positive action. Kairos West Michigan is a Christian movement that educates and mobilizes people in West Michigan to promote a just peace where equal human rights are realized for all the peoples of Israel-Palestine.

As is clear from the distressing news coming at us daily from the Palestinian territories, now is the Kairos moment (“ripe time”) for us to be actively engaged in helping to educate and activate our neighbors around the issues that have led to the creation of Kairos West Michigan.  We as the board of directors also believe it is time for us to find the most effective organizational structure to accomplish our purposes.

To this end, we are seeking to appoint a part-time Director who will provide the vision and organizational leadership to move us to the next level of involvement.  We believe this is necessary to allow us to achieve a more visible presence both online and in person to ensure a growing influence in our region and beyond. We anticipate building this role into a full-time position over time.

While a full job description can be found on our website, here are the basic qualifications and gifts we are looking for in the person we are prayerfully seeking for this position.
